CareTaker is a DrChrono plugin that pulls vitals from Caretaker Medical VitalStream monitors into the patient chart, so monitored sessions are recorded without transcription.

The problem
The monitor knows the blood pressure. The chart does not.
Monitored sessions produce a stream of readings on a device screen. Someone reads them off and types them into the chart, or writes them on the monitoring sheet and types them later. Transcription is slow, error-prone and usually incomplete.
What lands in DrChrono
- The session’s vitals as flowsheet columns in the patient’s chart.
- A note block and a PDF session report, linked from the chart.

What CareTaker does
- Connects Caretaker Medical VitalStream monitors to DrChrono.
- Captures vitals through the session and writes them into the chart when the session ends.
- A board for the day’s monitored sessions, so staff can see who is on a monitor.
- One device per provider included on every platform tier. Additional devices are $49 per device per month.
- Available standalone at $78 per device per month at the introductory rate (list price $130), for practices that need the device layer without the platform.

How it runs
Once a monitor is paired, the only new step is ending the session.

Monitors are paired to your practice during onboarding.

Run the session on the device as usual.
Charted
End the session. The vitals, a note block and a PDF report are written into the chart.
